La ricerca e la cura: UPDATE 2025

With UPDATE 2025, we renew the opportunity to bring together expertise and innovation across the professional fields involved in the diagnostic and therapeutic pathway of gastrointestinal cancers. The program will address key strategic issues in the multidisciplinary management of esophageal, gastric, primary liver and biliary tract tumors, with a dedicated session on rare gastrointestinal cancers.

Topics such as precision oncology, biomolecular profiling, and immunotherapy will be discussed across clinical sessions, always with a focus on scientific evidence and applicability to daily practice.

The Research session will present the background and early results of significant collaborative studies conducted nationwide and will close with the selection of projects proposed by young oncologists and trainees. Thanks to the partnership with LILT Friuli Venezia Giulia, the Prize for Ideas will be awarded.
