About
Matteo Fassan is Professor of Pathology at Padua University and Director of the Surgical Pathology Unit of the ULSS2 Marca Trevigiana Hospital.
His research is mainly focused on the histological and molecular characterization of pre-neoplastic and neoplastic gastrointestinal pathology, with a peculiar effort on biomarker testing. On these topics he is actively involved in clinical and translational research projects (also in those of the cooperative GONO group) and has authored and co-authored 700 peer-reviewed publications.
