Stefano Tamberi

Stefano Tamberi is Professor in Medical Oncology at University of Bologna In 1992 he obtained degree with honors in Medicine, in 1997 specialized with honors in Oncology at University of Bologna, in 2001 a PhD in Gastrointestinal Oncology at the University of Modena -Reggio Emilia and in 2015 a second-level Master in “Health services management” at University of Bologna.

He’s chief on Oncology Unit at Santa Maria Hospital in Ravenna and chief of Cancer Comprehensive Care and Research Network of Romagna (CCCRN).

He is primarily involved in gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary tumor research, from translational research to collaboration with international and GONO clinical trials, especially in rectal and anal cancer. He’s author and co-author of more than 120 peer-reviewed publications.
